Just because the football world seems to be dominated by all of the college bowl action doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the NFL. In fact, this weekend’s board offers a slew of compelling playoff-implicating games, including our FREE FoxSheet of the Week: San Diego vs. Kansas City. Both teams remain in the hunt for the last AFC Wildcard position but this is a must win for both teams. San Diego, 9-5, comes in off an upset of previously unbeaten Indianapolis. Meanwhile, Kansas City has dropped its last two games vs. NFC East competition to fall to 8-6.

The Chiefs opened as a 1-point favorite but the line quickly moved to a pick em’. The general consensus is that San Diego is the more talented team, but Kansas City’s strong home field advantage should be able to offset that. In fact, the Chiefs have been a dominant franchise in December games at home for the last couple of decades. In any case, it figures to be a hotly contested game.

There’s plenty of analysis to chew on to help get you prepared for when these teams meet on the field Saturday at 1:00 PM ET. Get it all by visiting the FREE NFL FoxSheet of the Week.

The second edition of the Christmas Day matchup between Kobe and Shaq highlights the StatFox basketball weekend coverage. We are offering this holiday treat as our FREE NBA FoxSheet of the Week. Be sure to refer back to this link late Saturday and anytime before tip-off on Christmas Day for all the key info you’ll need to get an edge on this exciting contest.

Both teams have been going through plenty of highs & lows this season, but their recent play has been most noteworthy. The Heat have turned it on since Shaq has come back and Pat Riley took over Stan Van Gundy as Head Coach. Meanwhile, the Lakers had one of their best efforts of the year on Tuesday night in throttling Dallas at home behind 62 points from Kobe.

As a new wrinkle to this year’s game, throw Phil Jackson into the mix. Shaq, Kobe, & Phil back together on the court for the first time. It figures to be a compelling contest. Again, make sure you access the FREE NBA FoxSheet of the Week anytime after Saturday evening for all the great Trends, Situations, Stats, and more!

Because of the limited weekend college hoops schedule, Friday night we’re offering an intriguing non-conference game between LSU & Cincinnati as our FREE College Basketball FoxSheet of the week.
