Top 10 2006 NFL Schedule Head-to-head ATS Hot Spots

The 2006 NFL Schedule was released in April and StatFox released an immediate article highlighting some of the entertaining games on the slate. What we are here to do today should provide more in handicapping value than entertainment, as we are here to deliver the Top 10 2006 NFL Schedule Head-to-head ATS Hot Spots.

These are the Top 10 games on the schedule to look for this season in terms of historical head-to-head matchups. They are designated either overall in the series, or at the specific home location. Exactly half of the games are divisional contests, while the others are not. This is just the first part of what will be an exciting series of football releases heading into the regular season, as StatFox prepares for the July production of its 4th Annual StatFox Edge Football Magazine!

So without further ado, here are the games 10, 9, and 8 to mark on your calendar as potential wagering opportunities, based solely on the historical series between the two teams. Combined, these series trends have combined for a phenomenal 100-24 ATS record when playing the dominant team!

#10.) 10/1/06: NEW ENGLAND @ CINCINNATI
In an unusual series trend, New England has won outright in four of its last six games against Cincinnati, but is 0-6 ATS. The Bengals will look to extend that streak when they host the Patriots October 1st.
#9.) 12/31/06: PITTSBURGH @ CINCINNATI
If the Bengals are to hold out hopes for a repeat division title, they will have to break a disturbing trend which has seen them go just 3-10 SU & ATS in their last 13 games hosting Pittsburgh.
#8) 12/17/06: DETROIT @ GREEN BAY
While struggling on the road, Green Bay turns the tables on Detroit when playing at home. In fact, when visiting Lambeau Field since 1992, the Lions are an ugly 0-15 SU & 3-10-2 ATS.

Free NBA Second Round Playoff FoxSheet of the Week: Detroit at Cleveland – Game 6

With the top seeds in both conferences, and the league’s last two champions, on the brink of elimination, their Eastern and Western Semifinal series’ move on to game 6 on Friday night. In the East, the Pistons, the favorite for the NBA title at the outset of the postseason, have lost three straight to the Cavaliers to fall behind 3 games to 2, and now face a must-win situation in Cleveland to stay alive in the playoff hunt. StatFox is showcasing this critical contest as its FREE NBA Playoff Game FoxSheet! Oddsmakers appear to be banking on an all-out effort from the Motor City Men, as Detroit opened as a 5-1/2 point road favorite. The total is set at 180.

The Pistons, 19-25 ATS on the road overall this season, have not looked good in the postseason away from the comforts of home. They are 1-3 SU & ATS so far in their four postseason games, and the one win came by virtue of a last two-minutes rally in Game 4 of the Milwaukee series. Meanwhile, Cleveland has covered the spread in all of the last four games of this series, which apparently turned in the 4th quarter of Game 2, when the Cavs made a valiant rally to get back in that game.

With a win in Game 6, Cleveland will continue what has been a remarkable first playoff run for star LeBron James with a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals where it will take on Miami. A loss though, and Game 7 will be played in Detroit on Sunday. With so much on the line Friday night, it’s essential to have every piece of handicapping information you can get your fingers on.
