Last week's StatFox E-newsletter was once again highlighted by the FREE College Football FoxSheet, the showdown game in the SEC between Georgia and Tennessee. The analysis featured double "Edge Stars" on the StatFox Game Simulator, indicating Tennessee had a great shot at covering the game in Athens, GA. This week's FREE College Football FoxSheet highlights the annual non-conference battle between Southern Miss and Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Tide has owned USM in recent years, winning 11 of the last 12 series games, and in the last two meetings, the Golden Eagles have mustered up just 10 points. Southern Miss comes in to this game unbeaten at 4-0, while 'Bama is 4-2. As promised in the October 8th E-newsletter, StatFox has analyzed the results from this year's early season football action. We tracked nearly every section on the FoxSheets to see what has been working and what hasn't. The result: 132 VARIOUS SYSTEMS, ANGLES, and STAT CALCULATIONS were found to have been PROFITABLE so far this season!

Keep in mind that this analysis was for single sections only and that by digging deeper into various line ranges and system combinations, even further profit could be realized! Feel free to use the raw chart for any analysis you might want to conduct.
You'll see that the presentation is very similar to that which we released in August, highlighting 57 different FoxSheets baseball systems that had been profitable through the course of the 2004 season. Coincidentally, the now famous "FoxSheets Baseball Star System" is 3-0 in the postseason! Like baseball, we've found a few underlying angles that have meant success in both College and Pro football. In College, defense has been key. Hosts with strong defensive units have had great success when key factors are met. NFC foes collide in our NFL FREE FoxSheet of the week, and it offers up a "FoxSheets NFL Star System" play. The 1-3 Bears host the 1-4 Redskins. Washington comes off a game in which it mustered just 107 yards, hoping to snap a four game SU & ATS losing skid. Meanwhile, Chicago took last weekend off and used it to help get new quarterback Jonathan Quinn ready for the remainder of the 2004 campaign. Quinn replaces the injured Rex Grossman who was lost for the year in week three. These teams met last year, also in Chicago, with the Bears winning 27-24 SU, but losing ATS. This week's FREE NFL FoxSheet features plenty of great information to handicap this game, including several situations favoring one side that have performed at a 70% or better rate historically against the spread. This trend also seems to indicate that Washington may be in a precarious position considering the spread, which has it favored by a point:
