MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Henry Burris passed for 302 yards and ran for another 93 as the Calgary Stampeders rallied for a 23-19 triumph over the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday.
Burris completed 28-of-37 passes, including one to Ken-Yon Rambo for a 5-yard touchdown just 3 1/2 minutes into the third quarter that forged a 17-17 tie. Following a single by Damon Duval that put Montreal back in front, Sandro DeAngelis gave Calgary the lead for good with 5:27 remaining in the period, booting a 32-yard field goal.
DeAngelis capped the scoring with a 40-yard field goal late in the fourth for the Stampeders (2-1), who allowed the first 17 points of the game.
Anthony Calvillo was 21-of-37 for 341 yards and a touchdown for Montreal (2-1), which gained just 25 yards rushing.
