REGINA, Saskatchewan (Ticker) -- Darian Durant threw for three touchdowns and ran for another score as the Saskatchewan Roughriders used a stellar fourth quarter to post a 41-33 victory over the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday night.
Wes Cates, Neal Hughes and Matt Dominguez each caught a TD for the Roughriders (4-0), who racked up 514 yards of total offense and scored 19 points the final period.
Trailing, 33-25, midway through the fourth, Saskatchewan was aided down the stretch by a scoring connection between Durant and Dominguez, a TD run by Durant and four points from the foot of kicker Luca Congi to provide the final margin.
Along with his TD grab, Cates ran for 107 yards on 15 carries for the Roughriders, who led 15-10 at halftime.
Anthony Calvillo threw for 354 yards and four scores for the Alouettes (2-2), who committed four turnovers.
