TORONTO (Ticker) -- Kerry Joseph scored the game-winning touchdown with 23 seconds remaining, capping a 109-yard drive as the Toronto Argonauts rallied for an improbable 35-31 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday.
Toronto (2-2) trailed by as many as 13 points early and was down, 31-28, with 1:39 remaining and the ball on its own 1-yard line. Joseph engineered the 10-play drive, completing 6-of-8 passes for 85 yards and rushing twice for 14 yards.
The quarterback threw for 343 yards and a touchdown and ran for another 118 yards with his game-winning score. James Robinson hauled in 10 receptions for 194 yards, including a 90-yard touchdown for Toronto.
Ricky Ray completed 20-of-33 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown to lead the Eskimos (2-2).
