101. Magic-Heat have something to prove Thursday - 3/3/2011
Miami and Orlando will square off Thursday night trying to prove to themselves and the critics that they can beat good teams. Orlando went through a stretch from Jan. 12 to Feb. 11 where it did not defeat a team with a winning record. After the 91-86 loss to the Knicks Tuesday, Miami dropped to 13-14 against teams with winning records.

102. Boston hosts Phoenix going for 6th straight road win - 3/2/2011
The red-hot Suns look to win their sixth straight on the road, but it won’t be easy to beat the Celtics, who have been terrific at the TD Garden this year. Phoenix has started its six-game road trip by winning the first three against Toronto, Indiana and New Jersey. Boston has also been hot, winning five of six, including a 107-102 win at Utah Monday.

103. Pacers and Warriors try to end losing ways - 3/1/2011
The Pacers and Warriors come into Tuesday night looking to turn around their recent struggles and stay afloat for final playoff spots. After winning seven of nine, Golden State finds itself winless since the All-Star break (0-3 SU and ATS). Indiana responded tremendously when interim coach Frank Vogel took over, going 7-1, but have stumbled recently, losing four of six.

104. Magic look to beat Knicks for 5th straight time - 3/1/2011
Orlando will play the Knicks Tuesday night to start off a rugged three-game schedule in four nights that involves three of top six teams in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks are coming off a terrific 91-86 win at Miami on Sunday while Orlando is coming off two nice home victories against the Thunder and Bobcats.

105. Struggling Jazz are 4-point home dogs vs. Boston - 2/28/2011
The new-look Jazz hope to get a new result Monday as they come in losers of six of seven to face the also-altered Celtics. Utah has dropped 15 of 20 and has fallen from third to ninth in the standings. The Jazz recently traded their star point guard Deron Williams to the Nets for Derrick Favors, Devin Harris and draft picks. The Celtics surprised many by trading their defensive enforcer Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma City for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.

106. Bobcats try to end Kings rare win streak - 2/25/2011
The Charlotte Bobcats look to win their third straight at the Time Warner Cable Arena, but will have to do it with out their high flyer Gerald Wallace, who was traded to Portland Thursday for Joel Przybilla, Dante Cunningham and two first-round picks. The Kings look to win two straight games for the first time since Jan. 28-29.

107. Noah tries to lead host Bulls past Miami - 2/24/2011
The streaking Miami Heat come into Thursday night winners of 11 of 12, but the Chicago Bulls are finally full strength getting their rebounding monster Joakim Noah back on Wednesday night. Noah had seven points and 16 rebounds in Wednesday's loss at Toronto.

108. Utah begins life after Deron Williams - 2/23/2011
The ice-cold Jazz come into Wednesday’s game looking to cool off the red hot Mavericks and get Ty Corbin his first win as Utah’s head coach. This will also mark Utah’s first game without point guard Deron Williams who was traded to the Nets Wednesday afternoon for Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, two first-round draft picks and cash considerations. It is uncertain whether Favors and Harris will suit up for the Jazz in this game.

109. Thunder heavily favored over the Clippers - 2/22/2011
The Oklahoma City Thunder look to get their first win against the Clippers on their home floor since leaving Seattle in 2008 when the two match up Tuesday night. LA. has lost seven of their past nine games and Eric Gordon (24.1 PPG), will miss his 14th consecutive game with a broken wrist. The Thunder have picked up their play, winning 7-of-10 and most recently dismantling the Kings 126-96.

110. Miami favored by 13.5 over Sacramento - 2/22/2011
The Heat come back from the All-Star break with their eyes on first place in the Eastern Conference, while the Kings look for a fresh start in the second half. Sacramento has been bad as expected this year with the third-worst record in the NBA (13-40). After a 9-8 start, the Heat have proceeded to go 32-7 (82%).

111. NBA's best Spurs are 2-point underdog at Chicago - 2/17/2011
The Spurs are looking to end their nine-game rodeo road trip with an exclamation point but a streaking Bulls team has other plans. San Antonio has won six of eight on the road and have the NBA’s best road record SU (21-7). Chicago is red hot at home, winning 14 of 15 SU (10-4-1 ATS) at the United Center.

112. Pierce expects to play Wednesday vs. Nets - 2/16/2011
Boston is happy that Paul Pierce’s foot injury was only minor and he should be able to suit up Wednesday against the Nets. New Jersey has lost 14 of the past 15 meetings with Boston and their only win came last Feb. 27 when Pierce was sidelined with a thumb injury.

113. Lakers look to get back on track vs. lowly Cavs - 2/16/2011
Cleveland would love to avenge the 55-point spanking they received from the Lakers on Jan. 11, but the Lakers would love to hand the dreadful Cavaliers another beating. In the past, Los Angeles has had problems winning at Cleveland, losing five of their past six, but those Cavs teams were led by LeBron James.

114. Bobcats look for another upset at Chicago - 2/15/2011
The Bobcats are looking to continue their impressive play against some of the NBA’s best teams when they visit Chicago Tuesday. Charlotte's three wins in its past five games have come against Boston, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Only San Antonio has been better at home than Chicago (23-4) in the NBA this season. Taking away the two January defeats to Charlotte, the Bulls are 13-2 since Jan. 8.

115. Bobcats try to retain dominance over Lakers - 2/14/2011
The Charlotte Bobcats are starting to prove they can beat winning teams and a victory against the two-time defending champion Lakers on Monday, would really boost confidence in a young, but talented locker room. Kobe Bryant has had great success against the Bobcats averaging 30.7 PPG in 11 career games, but Charlotte has beaten Los Angeles seven out of the past nine meetings, and is 10-1 ATS in the past 11 matchups.

116. Hornets try to stop losing skid visiting Orlando - 2/11/2011
The banged-up New Orleans Hornets come into Friday’s game against the Magic looking to end a four-game losing streak. Orlando, on the other hand, has won three of four and would love to avenge a tough 92-89 overtime defeat in New Orleans Jan 12.

117. Injury-riddled Celtics host Lakers Thursday - 2/10/2011
The Lakers come into the TD Garden Thursday night looking to avenge their Jan. 30 loss to their old rival, the Boston Celtics. L.A. put together two nice road wins, winning Saturday at New Orleans 101-95, and at Memphis 93-84 on Monday. Boston is banged up and will have to play without veterans Shaquille O’Neal (Achilles), Jermaine O’Neal (knee) and Delonte West (wrist). Paul Pierce missed Wednesdays’ practice due to an illness, but he is expected to play Thursday.

118. Orlando travels to Philly to face surging 76ers - 2/9/2011
The Orlando Magic enter Wednesday trying to win back-to-back games for the first time since winning three in a row Jan. 19-22. Back-to-back victories won’t be easy against a red hot Philadelphia 76ers team, who have won seven of nine (6-3 ATS).

119. Pacers-Heat meet Tuesday with win streaks on the line - 2/8/2011
Miami is looking to avenge its worst home loss, which it received from the Pacers on Nov. 22 in a 93-77 defeat. Since new interim coach Frank Vogel replaced Jim O’Brien on Jan. 30, the Pacers have won four straight games. Since the loss on Nov. 22 to the Pacers, the Heat are 29-8 SU and on a current six-game win streak, including five straight ATS victories.

120. Spurs continue 9-game road trip in Detroit - 2/8/2011
The Spurs put their NBA-best record on the line when they visit Detroit on Tuesday night. With a win, the San Antonio Spurs would be the seventh team in NBA history to start 43-8 or better, and the first team since the 1996-97 NBA champion Bulls started 45-6. The Pistons, on the other hand, would be more than happy if they reached 43 wins at any point this season.

121. Nuggets host struggling Jazz likely missing Deron Williams - 2/4/2011
The Jazz haven’t experienced a road victory since Jan. 8 against Houston, losing six straight. Life on the road isn’t going to get any easier when they face the Denver Nuggets on Friday, who have the second best home record in the Western Conference (21-5).

The hot Phoenix Suns come into Friday’s game winning 8-of-11 games, but go up against the even hotter Kevin Durant, averaging 40.8 PPG in his past four contests. The Suns are riding a three-game win streak and have won eight of 11 (8-3 ATS).

123. Bulls look for 6th straight win visiting Clippers - 2/2/2011
The Clippers look to win their 10th straight at home for the first time since Dec. 5, 1975-Jan. 6, 1976, when the Clippers were known as the Buffalo Braves and current coach Vinny Del Negro was nine years old. Chicago comes into Wednesday’s game on a five-game win streak (4-1 ATS) and winners of eight of its past nine (6-2-1 ATS).

124. Spurs try to snap 4-game losing skid in Portland - 2/1/2011
The San Antonio Spurs come into Tuesday’s matchup looking to change their luck at the Rose Garden where they’ve lost their last four. The Spurs start a nine-game road trip, but are certainly not afraid of playing away from the AT&T Center. They are 15-5 SU and 13-6 ATS on the road this year.

125. Lakers look for quick recovery hosting Houston - 2/1/2011
The Lakers come into Tuesday’s bout with the Rockets looking to get back to their winning ways at home. The Lakers have lost two straight in the Staples Center and are 18-7 SU at home this year, matching their loss total for all of 2009-10.
