UTAH JAZZ (34-34)

at SAN ANTONIO SPURS (52-16)

Tip-off: Friday, 8:35 p.m. ET
Line: San Antonio -10, Total: 200

The Spurs have stayed hot even with All-Star point guard Tony Parker sidelined, and they have a chance to make it four in a row and eight wins in their last nine at home when they host Utah Friday night.

The Jazz haven’t won at San Antonio since January 2010, a six-game SU losing streak (1-4-1 ATS). They’ve been struggling badly since the All-Star break, going 4-10 SU, but 7-7 ATS. They’ve been especially bad on the road, going 11-24 SU and 14-20-1 ATS on the year, including seven SU road losses in a row (3-4 ATS) and losses in 10 of their last 11 games outside of Salt Lake (4-7 ATS).

For NBA Totals, Gary is a stellar 67% (12-6) since March 7, Brian is 64% (7-4) since March 13, and Scott is 62% (16-10-3) since Feb. 22 to raise his season record to 56.4% (92-71-3) in Totals.

Despite their strength in the frontcourt, the Jazz are shooting just 43.7% FG since the All-Star break. PG Mo Williams (11.8 PPG, 6.2 APG) has been in a brutal shooting slump since returning from a thumb injury earlier this month. He’s hit 37.5% of his threes but just 35.4% on all field goals over eight games since returning. C Al Jefferson (17.3 PPG, 9.2 RPG) has also had issues since returning to the lineup following an ankle injury. He’s averaging just 13.7 PPG on 43.6% FG in seven games since returning. Swingman Gordon Hayward (14.4 PPG, 41.1% 3PT) has done his best in picking up the offensive slack, averaging 20.3 PPG on 51.3% FG and 56.3% from three since being re-inserted into the starting lineup three games ago.

With Parker (21.0 PPG, 7.6 APG) out, PF Tim Duncan (17.2 PPG, 9.9 RPG) has dominated like he did in his younger days. Duncan took a night off against Minnesota 10 days ago, and has come back to average 27.7 PPG on 64.3% FG and 14.7 RPG in three games since. Sixth man Manu Ginobili (12.4 PPG) has taken over the bulk of the point guard duties and has averaged 12.3 PPG on just 32.4% FG, but added 8.7 APG over the past three games. SF Kawhi Leonard (11.5 PPG) has also helped pick up the slack of late, averaging 15.0 PPG on 51.0% FG this month, and SG Danny Green (10.6 PPG, 43.6% 3PT) has shot it very well over the last two months, averaging 13.4 PPG while shooting 51.3% FG and 50.9% threes over his last 21 games. He had 21 on 8-of-9 FG the last time these teams met in San Antonio, last November.
