The Sprint Cup drivers will take their talents to Fort Worth on Sunday, as the second event in the Eliminator Round will be the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. This racetrack is going to make for some extremely exciting driving on Sunday. Texas Motor Speedway features a 1.5-mile asphalt track. There are large 24-degree corners and that leads to some seriously fast speeds. These drivers have already raced on this course in 2015, as the Duck Commander 500 takes place at Texas Motor Speedway. Jimmie Johnson came away with a victory at the event, but he is not in contention to come away as this years #1 driver. With this out of the way, let’s now take a look at who may be coming away with a huge victory on Sunday:

Joey Logano (5-to-1) - Joey Logano has had quite the season and he had won three straight races before finishing in 37th last weekend. Logano finished fourth at Texas Motor Speedway when the drivers raced in the Duck Commander 500 earlier in the season. He has been good at this track in his career, winning the Duck Commander 500 back in 2014. He is still very much in the hunt to come away as this season’s top Sprint Cup driver and will be gunning for first once again on Sunday. He’s a solid play at 5-to-1 at this event.

Jimmie Johnson (6-to-1) - Jimmie Johnson has already tallied one win at Texas Motor Speedway this season and it was actually his fourth win at the track in the past six events there. Johnson has also won at the course on one other occasion; giving him five Sprint Cup wins on this track. While Johnson is not going to be able to finish as the top racer in the world this year, he is still as talented as they come and should be able to add another victory to his impressive resume on Sunday. He is a very good choice to win at 6-to-1.

Jeff Gordon (30-to-1) - Jeff Gordon had been racing well all year, but was unable to break through for a victory until a first place finish at last week’s race at Martinsville Speedway. Gordon has now finished in third and first respectively over the past two weeks and has plenty of experience at Texas Motor Speedway. He won here in 2009 at the Samsung 500 and will be going for his second career victory here on Sunday. At 30-to-1, Gordon is an excellent play to keep his momentum going and give himself a shot to come away as #1 in the Chase.

Greg Biffle (200-to-1) - Greg Biffle has not won a race since the 2013 season, but he has crazy odds on Sunday and has had a lot of success at Texas Motor Speedway in his career. Biffle won at this track back in 2012 and also won a race here in 2005. If you’re looking for a darkhorse to win on Sunday, there won’t be many better options than him. He’s worth a play at 200-to-1, as even one unit would make for a great weekend if he is to enter victory lane.
