The Sprint Cup drivers head to Phoenix for the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 on Sunday. This will be the final race of the Eliminator Round and the last chance for anybody to stay in the Chase before the Championship Round on Nov. 22. Phoenix International Raceway was the host of the CampingWorld.com 500 earlier in the year. Kevin Harvick was the winner of that event this year and he is very much in the running moving forward. Harvick is the all-time leader in wins at Phoenix with seven victories in his career. Jimmie Johnson, meanwhile, has a record 14 top-fives. The course in Avondale runs 2.66 miles long and features 33 degree banking on turns 1 and 2, 32.4 degree banking on turn 3 and 32.5 degree banking on turn 4. With that out of the way, let’s now take a look at who may win on Sunday and be feeling confident heading into the final race of the year:

Kevin Harvick (9-to-4) - As mentioned earlier, Harvick won the CampingWorld.com 500 earlier this year and is the all-time leader in wins at Phoenix International. Harvick has won three straight Sprint Cup races at this course and will be gunning for first in this event. Harvick currently sits at third in the standings for the Chase and a win at a course he is very comfortable at would mean a lot at this point in the season. He is as good a choice as any to come away with a victory and at 9-to-4, he’s getting some pretty favorable odds.

Jimmie Johnson (10-to-1) - Jimmie Johnson has known for a while that he will not be a contender for the Chase, but he is not letting that get in the way of him winning. Johnson has played the role of spoiler recently, finishing in first at last week’s AAA Texas 500. He’ll now get to come to a track where he has finished inside the top five on 14 different occasions. He finished in first four times in a stretch from 2007 to 2009 and knows how to get it done here. He has momentum coming into Sunday’s race and is a great play at 10-to-1.

Carl Edwards (12-to-1) - Carl Edwards is coming off of a fifth place finish at the AAA Texas 500 last weekend. He now has two top five finishes in the past three races and has finished inside the top 10 at four of the past five races as well. Edwards finished in 13th at the CampingWorld.com 500 earlier in the year. He has done well in Phoenix in his career overall, winning an event here in March of 2013. At 12-to-1, Edwards is a very solid play on Sunday.

Jamie McMurray (25-to-1) - Jamie McMurray comes into this race after some very good outings the past two weeks. McMurray finished in second at the Goody’s Headache Relief 500 two weeks ago and 10th last week. He also finished in second at the CampingWorld.com 500 earlier in the year. He has shown that he knows how to operate this track and is worth a unit or two at 25-to-1.

Kasey Kahne (30-to-1) - Kasey Kahne has really struggled recently, finishing outside of the top 15 at two of the past three races. He’ll be looking to turn things around on Sunday, and he certainly has a good chance to do so. Kahne is yet another darkhorse that has been good at Phoenix in his career, finishing in fourth earlier in the season at the CampingWorld.com 500. He has also recorded a win at this track back in November of 2011.
