Zach Johnson will be looking to win his third ever Dean & DeLuca Invitational when the golfers tee off at Colonial Country Club on Thursday. Johnson did, however, struggle a bit at last week’s Byron Nelson tournament. He shot only a two-under and finished tied for 66th, but he should still have a ton of confidence when he gets back out on this 7,204-yard course. Johnson set the course record for best score ever shot here back in 2010. He shot a 21-under for the tournament that year and will be hoping to recapture that magic beginning on Thursday. Winning a third tournament here won’t be easy for Johnson, though. This field has some big time golfers competing this weekend, as Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed will all be out there on Thursday. With that out of the way, let’s now take a look at some of the better picks to win this thing on Sunday:

Jordan Spieth (13-to-2) - It wasn’t quite as bad as The Masters, but a Sunday meltdown prevented Jordan Spieth from winning yet another tournament last week. Spieth shot a four-over 74 in the final round of the AT&T Byron Nelson and will need to figure out a way to clear his mind moving forward. He is still one of the best golfers on the planet and will now get to face a rather weak field in this week’s event. Spieth also happens to be pretty solid on this course, as he was a runner-up here a year ago. He’ll certainly be looking to finish the job and end his cold streak with a win on Sunday and that’s why he’s worth taking at 13-to-2 this weekend.

Matt Kuchar (14-to-1) - Kuchar played some phenomenal golf at last week’s AT&T Byron Nelson, shooting a 14-under and ultimately finishing in third place. It was his second straight third place finish and third top-10 finish in the past four events. He’s playing his best golf of the season right now and returns to a course where he has played well at in the past. Kuchar was the runner-up at this tournament back in 2013 and, like Spieth, he’ll be hoping to get over the hump to actually win this thing on Sunday. The 14-to-1 odds he’s receiving are very favorable and he’s worth putting a unit or two on this weekend.

Zach Johnson (25-to-1) - Johnson has struggled mightily over the past few tournaments, as he is even in his past two events combined and has not yet won a tournament in 2016. Johnson is, however, completely dominant at this tournament and will be hoping to earn his first victory of the year here on Sunday. He has already won this tournament twice in his career and that alone should be a reason to put a unit or two on him, but he is also receiving some crazy favorable odds at 25-to-1. It’d be irresponsible not to give Johnson a try this weekend.

Smylie Kaufman (80-to-1) - Kaufman may not be a household name on the TOUR, but the youngster is 14th in FedEx Cup rankings and 51st in OWGR. He has burst onto the scene this season with some stellar play and has also already won a tournament back in October. He has a complete game and should thrive on this course this weekend. Kaufman is getting ridiculous odds at 80-to-1 and is worth putting a half-unit or so on Thursday. He always seems to be near the top of the leaderboard at some point in every tournament and it’d be tough to see him win without taking him at these odds.
