Devin Booker (4-to-1) - Booker might not be the fastest guy in this competition, but he is definitely the best shooter. And while shooting is not the most important part, the jumper from the top of the key is crucial. If he can navigate the course smoothly and drain his first shot then he’ll put up a good time. The other guards on this list could very well miss, and the bigs are going to need to hit first due to their lack of speed. He’s a good value where he is at 4-to-1. Nikola Jokic (14-to-1) - If you have to choose a big man then Jokic is probably the best value here. He’s getting 14-to-1 odds, and he just might be the most skilled big in basketball. Jokic is a very good passer, and he is also capable of stepping out and hitting the outside shot. He should have no trouble with the passing obstacles, but he’ll need to find a way to be faster when doing the dribbling portion of this event. Still, Jokic is a very good guy to pick and he could pay off huge. Three-Point Contest

CJ McCollum (8-to-1) - It’s probably best to start this by saying that Klay Thompson is easily the most likely to win this event, but there is just no value in taking him at 11-to-10. McCollum is probably the next most consistent shooter out here, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him win this thing. He’s getting 8-to-1 odds, and he will definitely want to make a statement on Saturday. He is tired of not getting recognized behind Damian Lillard and this could be a big coming out party for him. Wes Matthews (10-to-1) - Matthews might only be shooting 38.1% from the outside this season, but he is doing so on 7.1 attempts per game. That is a lot of threes to hoist up, and he is definitely a guy that can get hot in this setting. Matthews has a ridiculously smooth release, and his shot rarely changes. His ability to consistently get off a clean look is going to be big in this competition, and he could pay off big at 10-to-1. Dunk Contest

Derrick Jones Jr. (7-to-5) - Jones Jr. is really the only guy that stands out as a good value here. Jones Jr. is one of the only guys in the league that can jump as high as Zach LaVine, and it’s too hard to take Aaron Gordon at 10-to-17. Jones Jr. clearly isn’t a household name, but he’ll be out to make a name for himself here. Some of the dunks he does before Phoenix’s games are absurd, and it’d actually be surprising if he didn’t win.
