MINNESOTA VIKINGS (8-2) at DETROIT LIONS (6-4)

Ford Field – Detroit, MI
Kickoff: Thursday, 12:30 p.m. ET
Line: Minnesota -3.0, Total: 44.5

The first Thanksgiving game will be between the Vikings and the Lions. Both teams have been good this year, but the Vikings are the ones that stand out. They have been absolutely exceptional this season, as they are first in their division and could very well earn the top seed in the NFC playoffs. Detroit is, however, going to be the more confident team when these two meet on Thursday. The Lions are used to playing this game, as they do it every year. They also happen to be 3-2 both SU and ATS when facing the Vikings over the past three seasons, which includes three straight victories SU. One trend that favors the Vikings in this one is the fact that Minnesota is 14-4 ATS when playing in a dome over the past three seasons. The Vikings are also 14-4 ATS in road games revenging a loss where their opponent scored 14 or fewer points since 1992. As for the Lions, Detroit is 8-1 ATS in November over the past three seasons. QB Matt Stafford also happens to bring his best when playing on national television.

LA CHARGERS (4-6) at DALLAS COWBOYS (5-5)

AT&T Stadium – Dallas, TX
Kickoff: Thursday, 4:30 p.m. ET
Line: PK, Total: 47.5

The Cowboys are yet another familiar Thanksgiving face, and Dallas is going to be a desperate team on Thursday. The Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFC last year, but they now find themselves fighting for a spot in the playoffs. A loss on Thursday would make it very tough for them to make it to the postseason so expect QB Dak Prescott and the rest of this team to play with a sense of urgency. Unfortunately for them, the Chargers are also playing for a lot here. Los Angeles still has a shot at a Wild Card spot, so the team desperately needs a win also. One trend that favors the Chargers in this game is the fact that they are 8-1 ATS in road games after having lost two of three over the past three seasons. The Cowboys, however, are 34-19 ATS after a loss by 14 or more points since 1992. They are, however, without RB Ezekiel Elliott, which is bad news against a Chargers team that really gets after the passer.

NY GIANTS (2-8) at WASHINGTON REDSKINS (4-6)

FedExField – Washington, D.C.
Kickoff: Thursday, 8:30 p.m. ET
Line: Washington -7.0, Total: 44.0

The Giants will be looking to win two games in a row for the first time all season when they take on the Redskins on Thursday. Washington, however, needs to win in order to extend the season here. If the Redskins fall to 4-7 then they have no chance of making the playoffs, so they’ll be eager to face a struggling Giants team on Thursday. It’s worth noting that these teams have split wins both SU and ATS in four meetings over the past three seasons, but these teams are a lot different than they were the last time they met. The Giants have collapsed in almost every close game they’ve played this year, and there’s little reason to believe they’ll find the inspiration to win at this point. The Redskins, meanwhile, are an impressive 12-3 ATS versus teams that complete 61% of their passes or better over the past three seasons. That’s partly because this team has a secondary led by incredible CB Josh Norman. He’ll look to make plays against mistake-prone QB Eli Manning in this one. And on the other side of the ball, QB Kirk Cousins will try to pick apart a Giants defense that has been miserable this year.
