WACO, Texas (AP) - Baylor receiver Tevin Reese believes the Bears can go even faster.
The 23rd-ranked Bears scored 69 points with 692 total yards in their season opener. The longest of their eight touchdown drives took just more than 2 minutes.
Reese says they can always get better.
Baylor (1-0) plays Saturday against Buffalo (0-1). It is the second of four consecutive home games for the Bears to start the season, the 64th and final one they'll play at Floyd Casey Stadium.
The Bears opened the season with a 69-3 win over Wofford, the most points they've ever scored at their current home stadium.
Buffalo lost 40-20 at third-ranked Ohio State, but gained some momentum after falling behind 23-0 in the first quarter.
