HOUSTON (AP) - Texans coach Gary Kubiak will remain hospitalized for at least 24 more hours after collapsing on the field at halftime of Houston's 27-24 loss to Indianapolis on Sunday night.

The team released an update on his condition on Monday morning, saying that he ''went through a battery of tests.''

The Texans say that he experienced ''dizziness and a light-headed feeling,'' on Sunday night before being taken by ambulance to the hospital, but did not say what caused the problem.

General manager Rick Smith says: ''Gary is alert, coherent and in good spirits. He is continuing to be evaluated and monitored.''

The team says the 52-year-old Kubiak is with his family and more details will be released as they are available.
