MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Two people with direct knowledge of the deal tell The Associated Press that the Minnesota Vikings and left guard Charlie Johnson have agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth as much as $5 million.

The people spoke to the AP on Saturday on condition of anonymity because the team has not yet announced the deal.

Johnson has played the last three seasons with the Vikings, starting all but one game, due to an elbow injury last November. His return means the entire offensive line will be intact for a third straight year.

Johnson was first signed by the Vikings during training camp in 2011. After playing the entire season at left tackle, he moved to left guard in 2012.
