All eyes turn to Asia this weekend, where the world’s best descend on Malaysia for an annual shootout that will become an official event next year. The Mines would rank as one of the easiest courses on the Tour, and the most aggressive players will be rewarded in a small, 48-player field with no cut. Here’s a look at the best bets… Jeff Overton (25/1): His runner-up finish a year ago included a course-record 62 in the second round. Overton’s aggressiveness will serve him well again this week. He has two top-10's in his past five starts. Tiger Woods (7/2): Tiger finished the Tour season strong, with top-10's in the last three stops of the FedExCup playoffs. While he hasn’t played Malaysia since 1999, he was the medalist at the 1999 World Cup at Mines, and he’s dominated some of his old favorite tracks during his comeback year. Bo Van Pelt (7/1): The defending champ returns to Malaysia with plenty of momentum after a win in Australia. He posted top-10's in the last two stops of the FedExCup playoffs prior to that. Brendon De Jonge (25/1): He lands in Malaysia after posting a couple of top-fives during the fall season, including a final-round 65 to finish T4 at last week’s McGladrey Classic. Jason Dufner (7/1): He lost out to Van Pelt by two strokes in Australia last week, and Dufner should be in the hunt again this week. He finished T10 at last year’s CIMB.
