MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES (6-7)

at LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (8-6)

Tip-off: Wednesday, 10:35 p.m. ET
Line: Los Angeles -9, Total: 191.5

The Clippers are looking to end a four-game losing streak when they host Kevin Love and the Timberwolves in Los Angeles.

The Clippers started off the NBA season on a tear, but have since cooled off as they have lost four straight, all by at least six points. Luckily, they will be playing against the Timberwolves, who have lost five of their past six games (SU and ATS).

The Timberwolves just won their first game in six contests, but things haven’t been too great since PF Kevin Love returned. Love has played well so far, averaging 24.0 PPG and 16.5 RPG, but Minnesota is having trouble putting it together. Love has also struggled to find his touch from beyond the arc, shooting just 21% from three (5-for-24) so far on the year. The Timberwolves, however, haven’t found a consistent scoring option on the wing. PG Luke Ridnour is the highest scoring guard on the team and he is only averaging 11.2 PPG on 43% FG. The Timberwolves are really missing Rubio, starting SG Brandon Roy and SF Chase Budinger (11.8 PPG), who are all out with knee injuries.

The Clippers have struggled mightily after storming out of the gates early on in the NBA season. SG Jamal Crawford is starting to cool off after his hot start, averaging just 13.2 PPG on 35.5% FG over the past five games. Chris Paul is looking to find his game as well as he knows he hasn’t been playing at the high level Clippers fans are used to seeing. PF Blake Griffin fouled out of the Clippers' last game against New Orleans and he too will need to step his game up if the Clippers are to get back on track. Griffin is averaging just 16.8 PPG and 8.9 RPG, which are down considerably from his career averages of 21.3 PPG and 11.3 RPG.
