CHICAGO BULLS (14-10)

at NEW YORK KNICKS (19-6)

Tip-off: Friday, 7:30 p.m. ET

The Knicks will attempt to avenge an early season loss in Chicago when the Bulls play at Madison Square Garden on Friday Night.

The last time the Knicks played the Bulls, Chicago shut down the Knicks and came out on top 93-85. Carmelo Anthony wasn’t able to play in that game, but he will be playing in this one.

Chicago has won three of its past four games and its most recent victory came at home against the Celtics. In that game, C Joakim Noah posted a stat line of 11 points, 10 assists, 13 rebounds and three blocks. He did absolutely everything the Bulls needed and has done so all season (13.6 PPG, 10.6 APG, 4.5 APG and 2.3 BPG). SG Marco Belinelli has been shooting very well for the Bulls, as he is averaging 15.2 PPG on 47.4% shooting from three-point range over the past five games. Chicago has not allowed more than 90 points in any of their past four contests or 100 points in any of their past six games.

New York is coming off a big win at home against its new cross-town rival, Brooklyn, and the Knicks are now 8-2 in their past 10 games. Anthony has yet to slow down after a hot start to the season and he is now averaging 28.0 PPG (47% FG, 46% 3-pt FG) and 6.2 RPG. C Tyson Chandler has been playing very strong on both sides of the ball for the Knicks recently, averaging 14.0 PPG and 10.2 RPG to go along with 1.0 BPG and 1.2 SPG over the past five games. Chandler’s energy has fueled the Knicks to their last couple of victories. The Knicks will be without PF Rasheed Wallace in the game though, as he is resting his sore left foot.
