No. 3 Miami will look to continue its domination of the ACC as it travels to Tallahassee Wednesday for an in-state showdown with Florida State.

The Seminoles have one of the top players in the ACC in G Michael Snaer (13.9 PPG) but they have struggled through conference play, going 5-5 SU (3-7 ATS) thus far. And now the reigning ACC Tournament champions host a Miami team that has yet to drop a game in the conference, going 10-0 SU and 8-1-1 ATS. Moreover, the Hurricanes have done it by blowing out their opponents, winning their past two contests against North Carolina and Boston College by an average of 24.0 PPG. Although Miami has won two of the past three meetings between these schools, the 'Canes have not left Tallahassee with a victory since 2006, a span of six straight SU losses.

Durand Scott (14.0 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 3.0 APG) paces the Miami offense playing a grueling 34.7 MPG, and he has 15.3 PPG in his past three contests. Scott also averaged 14.5 PPG and 6.0 RPG in his two meetings with FSU last season, but , but was held to 11 points and four rebounds in last month's victory. But Scott is far from the team’s most dangerous threat. PG Shane Larkin (13.0 PPG, 4.3 APG, 4.2 RPG) is coming into his own as a floor general and is coming off an 18-point, 9-assist performance in Saturday's win versus North Carolina. Larkin is also averaging 2.0 threes per game on a solid 43.4% clip. Although he was 1-for-9 FG in his visit to FSU last season, he's posted 24 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists in the past two games versus the 'Noles. The Hurricanes frontcourt has a mix of lightning and thunder in Kenny Kadji (13.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG) and Reggie Johnson (9.7 PPG, 8.8 RPG). Kadji is a deft shooter (49% FG, 38% threes) despite his 6-foot-11 frame, nailing 1.3 threes per game and giving opposing teams matchup problems. He's scored at least 11 points in 13 straight games, making 50% FG or better in each of his past seven contests. Johnson is a 290-pound bull, who hasn’t been scoring as much since returning from injury with just 6.3 PPG on 33% FG (13-of-39 FG), but is still a valuable presence in the paint. He had just 4.5 PPG in two games against FSU last season, but had 8.0 RPG in those meetings.

Snaer (13.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG) was completely neutralized in the first game against Miami, playing just 18 minutes and scoring four points (2-for-5 FG). But Snaer lit up the 'Canes last season with 17.3 PPG (9-of-16 threes) and 5.7 RPG. He’s hitting 2.0 threes per game this year, but needs to take better control of the basketball with 2.8 turnovers per game compared to just 2.5 APG. F Okaro White (12.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG) is the team’s only other double-digit scorer. He doesn’t have a developed offensive repertoire, but is extremely athletic, and scored 13 points (4-of-4 FG) with six rebounds in Saturday's loss at Wake Forest. He is even more important as the Seminoles remain without their leading rebounder, PF Terrance Shannon (8.5 PPG, 6.3 RPG) who is out with a neck injury. Maybe the guy to step up will be SG Ian Miller (5.7 PPG) who has struggled as a shooter this year (29.6% threes) but was the only Seminoles player to drop double-digit points on the Hurricanes last month with a 12-point performance in just 19 minutes of play.
