HOUSTON (AP) -Free agent linebacker Kevin Bentley signed with the Houston Texans on Monday.

The six-year NFL veteran played 43 games, including five starts, the past three seasons with Seattle. He had 27 tackles in two starts last season.

A fourth-round pick in 2002, Bentley spent his first three seasons with Cleveland. His best season came in 2003 when he started 14 games and had 96 tackles and an interception.
