ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Tight end Teyo Johnson and quarterback Luke Drone were waived by the Buffalo Bills after the team's final minicamp practice Thursday.

Johnson, the Oakland Raiders' second-round pick in the 2003 NFL draft, was attempting a comeback after not playing since his release by Arizona during the 2005 season. The Bills had signed Johnson in January.

Drone signed with the Bills in late April as a rookie undrafted free agent out of Illinois State. Drone, one of five quarterbacks on Buffalo's roster, saw very limited practice time during minicamps over the past month.

The cuts came after coach Dick Jauron canceled the Bills final practice session Friday. The team is now off until opening training camp on July 25.
