This will be Arena Football’s version of Indianapolis and New England this season. Never before has two teams met without a loss this late in the AFL season. It is being billed as “Broad Street Brawl”, as Philadelphia (8-0, 6-2 ATS) hosts Dallas (7-0, 5-2 ATS). Philadelphia has enjoyed a dream season, even having to play backup quarterback Matt D’Orazio, yet still leads the AFL in points scored at 66 per game. The defense of Soul coach Doug Kay squad has not been bad either, ranking in the top five in points allowed. Philly is 4-0, with three covers at home, winning by 14.5 PPG. Philly has won 10 regular season games in a row (7-3 ATS) dating back to last season. As impressive as that number is, it pales in comparison to Dallas, who is up to 15 in a row with 10-5 ATS record. Included in that streak are seven road wins and the Desperados are 9-2 ATS as the visitor in last 11. Dallas has had the benefit of a bye week to prepare, giving QB Clint Dolezel more time to shake off the rust. The Desperados defense has carried this team, giving up a league low 42.7 PPG. With Dolezel back, the offense should resume normal numbers of the past. Dallas is 15-3 ATS in road games after two or more consecutive straight up wins and has split last four meetings in the City of Brotherly Love. This has the look of going Under the total, as when teams like the Soul, after going over the total by 21 or more points in their last three games, have a winning record on the season playing another winning team, play UNDER 25 of last 31 times (80.6 percent), the last three years. Sportsbook.com has Philadelphia as 4.5-point favorites with total of 103. This titanic struggle starts at 8 Eastern on ESPN2. StatFox Power Line - Philadelphia by 7
