COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -A judge has fined an Ohio State football player $350 for drunken driving and ordered him to attend an alcohol intervention class.

Campus police stopped defensive tackle Doug Worthington for speeding near Ohio Stadium on July 26. They say a breath test showed his blood-alcohol content was over the legal limit.

The 21-year-old from suburban Buffalo, N.Y., pleaded guilty in January.

Franklin County Municipal Judge James E. Green sentenced him on Monday to 180 days in jail and suspended all but three days for the class, which Worthington has already taken.

Worthington became an Ohio State starter in 2007. He ended last season with 34 tackles.
