CINCINNATI (AP) -When things started getting a little crazy late in the game, Cincinnati Bengals defensive players would huddle and remind each other that they were playing for more than first place.

They wouldn't let anyone forget Vikki Zimmer. The wife of defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer died unexpectedly on Thursday.

She baked cookies and other goodies for the team on days after victories and wrote encouraging notes to players, who dedicated their 17-14 win Sunday in Baltimore to her memory and her family. The funeral will be Tuesday.

The Bengals (4-1) took sole possession of first place in the AFC North by beating the Ravens, then gave a game ball to an emotional Zimmer in the locker room after the game.
