Chiefs C Niswanger injures knee against San Diego

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Kansas City center Rudy Niswanger has left the Chiefs' game against the San Diego Chargers with a left knee injury.

Niswanger was injured late in the first quarter Sunday during Kansas City's second drive and limped off the field.

Wade Smith, who started in place of injured left tackle Branden Albert, replaced Niswanger. Barry Richardson took over at left tackle.

Albert missed his second straight game with a left ankle injury.
