OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -New York Jets running back Leon Washington left Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders in the first quarter with an apparent leg injury.

Washington went down on his first carry when a defender rolled up on his right leg. He was helped off the field by two trainers and then taken away on a cart.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the injury.
