MIAMI (AP) -New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis was forced from Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins because of a sprained right knee.

Ellis was hurt late in the second quarter and helped off the field.

The Saints were already without starting nose tackle Kendrick Clancy, who hasn't played since the first game because of a right knee injury.
