EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -Turnovers, penalties, questionable play calls. You name the mistake and the Minnesota Vikings made it Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The miscues ultimately cost them a chance to stay undefeated. And coach Brad Childress says they will have to be sharper this week in Brett Favre's highly anticipated return to Green Bay.

The Vikings committed 11 penalties and turned the ball over twice in the red zone in a 27-17 loss that dropped them to 6-1. The Steelers returned both turnovers for defensive touchdowns.

Childress says he was particularly concerned with the high number of pre-snap penalties. The Vikings had five false-start penalties and an illegal shift on offense.
