DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -Miami inside linebacker Channing Crowder is doubtful for the Dolphins' game against the New York Jets because of a sore shoulder.

Crowder sat out practice for the third day in a row Friday, but he worked on the side and coach Tony Sparano said there's a chance he'll play in Sunday's game at the Meadowlands.

Crowder has missed six games in his five-year career. His absence would be felt against the Jets, who lead the NFL in rushing.

Running back Ricky Williams (thumb) and nose tackle Jason Ferguson (foot) are listed as probable.
