ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Bills rookie safety Jairus Byrd joined San Francisco's Dave Baker as only the second NFL player to have two or more interceptions in three straight games.

Byrd intercepted Houston's Matt Schaub twice in the first quarter of Buffalo's game Sunday. The second-round draft pick out of Oregon also had two each in Buffalo's previous games, wins over the New York Jets and Carolina.

In 1960, Baker had nine interceptions - three against Dallas, two against Baltimore and four against the Los Angeles Rams - during a three-game stretch in Weeks 8-10. Byrd last week was chosen NFL rookie of the month and entered the game with five interceptions, one behind the league leader, New Orleans veteran Darren Sharper.
