ATLANTA (AP) -Go ahead and tell Paul Johnson that his throwback offense can't work at a major college. He's heard it all before.

The Georgia Tech coach is sure proving critics wrong, guiding the No. 10 Yellow Jackets to another strong season in his second year at the Atlantic Coast Conference school.

They're two wins away from playing in the league championship game using an offense that's heavy on the run and reminds some opponents of the wishbone, which was popular in the 1970s.

Behind quarterback Josh Nesbitt, the Yellowjackets are averaging more than 304 yards rushing entering Saturday's game against Wake Forest. Nesbitt leads the team and ranks third in the ACC with 561 yards on the ground. He's also rushed for an ACC-leading 10 touchdowns.
