CINCINNATI (AP) -Most Cincinnati Bengals players are accepting the addition of troubled running back Larry Johnson as a move to improve the team.

The player who could be most affected doesn't have much to say, and that's the most telling reaction of all.

Starting running back Cedric Benson was guarded Wednesday when asked his thoughts about the Bengals signing the former Kansas City Chiefs star. When it was pointed out that Benson didn't seem happy with the move, he said he didn't know he was supposed to be thrilled by it.

Benson didn't practice on Wednesday because of a hip injury that could speed Johnson's progression up the depth chart.
