I had an ironic conversation with my financial adviser last week. While obviously affected by recent news in the economic sector, his latest advice is to look into buying bonds, and precious metals. As you can see, for the handicapper just studying the starting pitchers or looking in the morning paper or more simplistic stat sites, the results have been horrendous. That is of course, if they were using any other stat category than the Bullpen WHIP (a longtime favorite of mine as most readers are probably well aware).
