STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Injured starting quarterback Wes Lunt was held out of Oklahoma State's Big 12 opener against No. 12 Texas on Saturday night, with backup J.W. Walsh making his first career start.

Lunt was on the sidelines in his jersey but without shoulder pads on. He didn't go through pregame warmups either.

Lunt injured his left knee in Oklahoma State's Sept. 15 victory against Louisiana-Lafayette, which preceded the Cowboys' off week.
