A Michigan State spokesman says the Spartans' staff notified athletic director Mark Hollis about ``incomplete video'' from Ohio State, but when Hollis talked to Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith about the issue, it was dealt with. The 14th-ranked Buckeyes beat the 20th-ranked Spartans 17-16 on Saturday. It was new Ohio State coach Urban Meyer's first Big Ten game since taking over. The Detroit Free Press first reported on the controversy.
