KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee doesn't have to spend much time figuring out where it needs the most improvement as it heads into its off week.

The first month of the season has shown that the Volunteers won't stop their run of misery against Top 25 teams unless they do a better job of stopping the run, period.

Tennessee allowed touchdown runs of 51, 72 and 75 yards Saturday in a 51-44 loss to No. 5 Georgia. Over their last three games, the Volunteers have yielded five touchdown runs of 50 yards or more, with four of those breakaways going at least 70 yards.

The Vols (3-2, 0-2 Southeastern Conference) must improve that run defense during their off week before returning Oct. 13 at No. 20 Mississippi State, which averages 5.1 yards per carry.
