CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - So far this season, Miami has lost by at least 38 points twice and is on pace to give up more points and yards than any team in school history.

It also has the Atlantic Coast Conference's best record.

The league's lone 3-0 team so far, and one of only three clubs yet to lose in ACC play, Miami went back to work Monday trying to remove the what remaining sting there was following a 41-3 loss to Notre Dame. The Hurricanes (4-2, 3-0) open a three-game homestand on Saturday against North Carolina (4-2, 1-1).

After losing 52-13 at Kansas State earlier this season, Miami responded with three straight wins. And Hurricanes coach Al Golden believes his young team has the capability to shake off this latest blowout as well.
