CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Mountain West Conference has reprimanded Wyoming coach Dave Christensen.

The conference says Christensen's comments and what it calls ``his provocative postgame conduct'' after the Cowboys' 28-27 loss to Air Force on Saturday violated the league's sportsmanship rules.

After Saturday night's game, Christensen questioned whether Air Force quarterback Connor Dietz was really injured when he left the game for one play with about eight minutes left. He said the several minutes that trainers attended to Dietz gave Air Force time to plan the next play, which resulted in the game-winning touchdown.

The referee announced that Dietz, by rule, had to leave the game because his helmet came off.

Christensen issued an apology on Sunday night.
