BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden understands that frustration and scrutiny come with the territory. He also knows he needs to improve at handling both.

Weeden said Wednesday that he's disappointed that he hasn't been able to lead the young Browns (2-7) to more victories. Cleveland has been competitive but Weeden said ``we've come up short too many times. I feel like I need to do more to help this team win.''

Weeden threw two interceptions and couldn't lead the Browns to a touchdown in Sunday's 25-15 loss to Baltimore. The Browns had the ball inside the Ravens' 20-yard line five times, but had to settle for field goals.

Browns coach Pat Shurmur feels Weeden has improved, saying ``he is our guy. It's not going to be perfect all the time.''
