NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Washington Redskins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (22)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 20) - Would be nice to win at home.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 21) - After a bye week, Robert Griffin will try to halt three-game skid.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 27)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 25) - Fresh off their bye I think they beat the Eagles this week.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 22) - Mike Shanahan insists he hasn't given up on the season. Let's see if his players prove him right in a largely meaningless game against Philly.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 26) - Robert Griffin III leads all NFL quarterbacks with 526 yards rushing, six touchdowns and six fumbles.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 22) - OK, now, let's get this straight: Are we playing for this year ... next year ... 2014?

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 24) - A month ago, these guys looked like playoff contenders. Not anymore.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 21) - All quiet during the bye week, but this team is dynamic and could make a run if the defense could shore up its problems. Right now they can't stop a good passing game.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 23) - The Redskins are reeling as their defense doesn't have the horses and RG3 is showing he is human.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 21) - The upcoming Sunday matchup against Philadelphia should be dubbed the "Basement Bowl." The loser will assume sole possession of fourth place in the NFC East, which is where the Redskins have finished the past three seasons.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 25) - They are not very reliable when it comes to defending the pass or predicting presidential elections.
