NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Kansas City Chiefs by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (31)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 31) - Great professional effort on Monday Night against Pittsburgh.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 30) - Week after week, they make too many mistakes to win.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 31)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 30) - Valiant effort on Monday night, but a costly turnover once again does them in (30 turnovers already this season, most in NFL).

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 31) - Finally, the Chiefs played 60 minutes without surrendering a turnover. Too bad they had to play overtime; Matt Cassel's interception cost the Chiefs a chance at the biggest upset of the week.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 31) - Matt Cassel is the only quarterback in the NFL that has thrown an interception in every game he has started.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 31) - Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou? Down here ... at the bottom of the league standings.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 31) - Somebody has to pay for that long-term commitment to Matt Cassel.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 32) - They played with great effort to get to overtime on the road in Pittsburgh and if they keep it up will win a few games.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 32) - Gutty effort giving the Steelers everything they could handle.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 31) - There could be no more appropriate ending for a team that leads the league in turnovers to have a Matt Cassel interception converted into the game-winning overtime field goal against Pittsburgh.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 31) - If only they could bring back Marty Schottenheimer. Or Hank Stram.
