NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the New York Jets by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

NEW YORK JETS (26)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 28) - Grounded.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 29) - This team is a mess, no matter what Rex Ryan or anyone says.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 24)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 21) - Someone needs to tell Rex that the defense isn't any good and that the offense is worse.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 27) - Mark Sanchez had hoped to show off for his old college coach. Instead, Pete Carroll got to see just how miserable the Jets' quarterback has turned out to be this season.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 24) - The Jets are 0-2 against the NFC this season and now head to St. Louis. They are one of the few AFC teams struggling against the other conference in 2012. The NFC holds a 25-16 edge in the series.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 29) - Sorry to disappoint Antonio Cromartie but, no, the Jets aren't going to the playoffs. That's what happens when you lose nine of your last 12.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 27) - With each loss, Rex Ryan seems to shrink in front of that podium.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 25) - Way too much talk and not enough action. The Tebow experiment is a disaster, the special teams are a liability, and the offense can't establish anything.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 27) - Seattle routed the Jets 28-7. It wasn't that close.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 24) - So much for the hope that the bye week would bring immediate improvement in the second half of the season. The Jets looked worse than ever in a 28-7 road loss at Seattle.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 24) - The Jets have lost three straight and if it isn't Tebow time now, maybe it never will be.
