NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Chicago Bears by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses): --- CHICAGO BEARS (8) Chris Berman (ESPN, 9) - What was that? Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 7) - After that Monday night whipping, Jay Cutler can't return too soon. Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 7) - Clearly not the same team without Cutler. Bob Glauber (Newsday, 8) - Jay Cutler can't get back soon enough, but it's the defensive meltdown in San Francisco that should have Lovie Smith just as concerned. Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) - The Bears are 5-0 when they score on defense and 2-3 when they don't. Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 8) - Once upon a time I thought Philadelphia had the worst pass protection. Then I watched Monday Night Football. Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 8) - The offense must have missed that charter flight to San Francisco. Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 8) - The loss to San Francisco raised some serious questions about their defense. The offensive pass protection is starting to fall apart, and without Cutler the Bears will continue to struggle. John Lynch (Fox Sports, 8) - The Bears free fall in this week's rankings as they have shown again that without Jay Cutler they really struggle. The 49ers exposed this on Monday night in front of the country. Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 10) - The Bears are in trouble until quarterback Jay Cutler recovers from his concussion. Even then, can his offensive line keep Cutler from getting hurt again?
