(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) WASHINGTON (AP) - Robert Griffin III is getting a copy of ``Cool Hand Luke.'' Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said Friday he's sending his rookie quarterback a DVD of the movie. Shanahan compared Griffin to the 1960s Paul Newman character after the Thanksgiving win over the Dallas Cowboys. Shanahan said Griffin is the type who ``doesn't get too upset about anything.'' But RG3 had no idea who or what ``Cool Hand Luke'' is, telling reporters it must be someone ``pretty cool.'' So Shanahan says he's texted Griffin to let him know it was a complement that he understood why a 22-year-old quarterback wouldn't know anything about a movie that's 45 years old. Another new description of Griffin is ``MVP candidate'' after two impressive wins that have revitalized the Redskins' playoff hopes. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL
