NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Pittsburgh Steelers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses): --- PITTSBURGH STEELERS (14) Chris Berman (ESPN, 10) - Holding the spot on assumption when/if Ben comes back. Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 20) - Seems like half the team is injured. They need Big Ben - badly. Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 10) Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 11) - Ben back throwing in practice is great news, now can and will he start on Sunday against the Ravens? Bob Glauber (Newsday, 17) - Ben Roethlisberger can't get back soon enough. Steelers are nowhere without him. Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 13) - Losing Ben Roethlisberger to injury has been devastating for the Steelers. Backups Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch have combined for four interceptions and no touchdowns the last two weeks in a pair of losses. Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 16) - Now you know how valuable - or invaluable - Ben Roethlisberger is to these guys. Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 14) - Roethlisberger to the rescue, just in time. Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 14) - Life without Big Ben is a reality check about this team, or most teams for that matter. Next year spend $4 million and get the best backup QB on the market. For now just get ready to play the Ravens next week and try and stay in the wildcard race. John Lynch (Fox Sports, 10) - Eight turnovers. Very Un-Steeler like. Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 13) - Mike Tomlin has led the Steelers to a Super Bowl victory, but guiding this injury-decimated roster into the playoffs would be almost as impressive an accomplishment. That's not going to happen, though, unless battered quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (ribs/shoulder) gets back on the field pronto.
