BOISE, Idaho (AP) - In so many ways, 2012 has been a season of firsts for Utah State.

The No. 18 Aggies set a school record with 10 wins and won their first outright conference title since 1936.

The Aggies (10-2) reached those milestones with a smothering defense and senior class that has been among the best in school history.

Coach Gary Andersen says the only thing missing is a bowl victory.

The Aggies will get a chance to claim a bowl trophy Saturday when they take on Toledo in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The Rockets (9-3) are playing in their third straight bowl and looking for their second straight postseason victory.
