ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Pittsburgh cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke is out of Sunday's game at Dallas after hurting his right shoulder on a special teams play.

Van Dyke was hurt on the Steelers' first punt less than 2 minutes into the game trying to tackle returner Dwayne Harris.

Cowboys starting linebacker Ernie Sims was doubtful to return after what the team said was a blow to the head on another play in the first quarter.

After Harris got away from Van Dyke and was quickly tackled by another Pittsburgh player, Van Dyke remained sitting on the field. He walked off the field with two trainers.

The Steelers initially said Van Dyke was doubtful to return, but a few minutes later said he was out for the game. They provided no other details.
