NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Detroit Lions by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses): --- DETROIT LIONS (28) Chris Berman (ESPN, 22) - Been through the desert on a Lion with no name. Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 24) - Jim Schwartz is blessed to have a long-term deal, because they look bad. Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 28) Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 26) - Embarrassing loss to Arizona sums up a very disappointing year for Schwartz and his squad. Bob Glauber (Newsday, 28) - You can learn a lot about a team when there's nothing to play for. Not sure Jim Schwartz likes what he's finding out his squad. Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 28) - The Lions rank first in the NFC in offense, but have nothing to show for it. Detroit is 4-10 and sliding along with a six-game losing streak. Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 28) - Since starting 5-0 last season the Lions are 9-17, including the playoffs, and, yeah, I understand why Lions' fans are upset. Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 27) - Jim Schwartz said the blame belongs to him. Save some for Ndamukong Suh. Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 25) - The season from hell is almost over. What a shame this team never got on track. John Lynch (Fox Sports, 29) - The inconsistent and undisciplined play continues to bite this team full of talent in Detroit. Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 29) - At least the Lions won't be finishing 0-16. That's the only good news for a club that has dropped six straight games following a blowout loss to lowly Arizona. Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 30) - Six straight losses, and it looks like they have their bags packed and their cars running in the parking lot. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL
