NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Miami Dolphins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

MIAMI DOLPHINS (19)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 27) - At least they won honoring the 40th anniversary of the 1972 unbeaten team.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 18) - Can still finish .500, which would be nice first year for Joe Philbin.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 19)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 18) - Nice win and performance by the Dolphins over Jacksonville, this team will finish strong.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 20) - Ryan Tannehill with a sharp effort against an admittedly weak Jacksonville defense. Even so, important progress for the rookie quarterback.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 19) - For the fourth consecutive season, all three of Florida's NFL teams will miss the playoffs. The Dolphins, Bucs and Jaguars have a combined 14-28 record. The last Florida team to make the playoffs was Miami as a division champion in 2008.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 18) - Maybe the Miami Marlins should do their civic duty and start sending their best players to these guys.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 19) - They'll look back and realize they've wasted some good defense in 2012.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 20) - A solid defense and a rookie quarterback with limited talent in the receiver group equals a mediocre season.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 19) - The Dolphins had come off losses to the Patriots and 49ers and had a chance to exhale against the lowly Jaguars.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 20) - The Dolphins still aren't very good on offense, but Jacksonville was worse.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 18) - If they could play the Jaguars every week, it might seem like 1972 all over again.
